Summit Rock

Thomas and his girlfriend Amy were in San Francisco and the need to
climb was overpowering. A large group including Amy G, Amy L, Karl, Kirsten,
Leslie, Sarah and Thomas convened at Summit Rock for a day of cragging.
We went up Santa Clara Practice Climbs 1 & 2 (5.7, 5.8), Ribbed for Comfort (5.9) and Bolt Filcher (5.10d). Excellent
deeds were done with first climbing trips (Amy L), NWLs - aka No Whining
Leads (Kirsten), complex balancing acts (all on Bolt Filcher)
and fascinating non-whaling moves (all on Ribbed for Comfort).
Conclusion: climbing with Thomas is just as fun in SF as it is in Mexico.
Another trip must happen soon.
