Crazy Horse Buttress is a climbing area about an hour outside of Chiang Mai. We caught a ride with the local climbing company and were so entertained by fellow passengers Shaun and Ewan that we set and cleaned routes for them the rest of the day. Although it was a bit hot, the climbing was great. We did several routes before grabbing beers and heading back into town.
We made it out again a few days later and got absolutely thrashed on a multi-pitch climb. Steep, sustained, technical and in the sun. We nearly died from the strain. The freshly cooked pad thai delivered to the crag helped quite a bit and we rallied for a few more climbs. We definitely could have spent several more days exploring different crags and ticking off more routes. We'll just need to come back.

Happy to be climbing
