Message sent by the Drunken Easter Bunnies (Jess, Jamie, Josh and Kevin):
For too long, Easter has been overrun by fluffy bunnies, cute baby chicks,
and adorable chocolate-smeared children. In all its wholesome goodness,
it remains one of the few holidays that isn't an excuse to relax and throw
back a few stiff drinks. Three years ago, a group of bored computer science
grad students decided that enough was enough. Already staggering under
the workload of another quarter, with spring break a distant memory and
memorial day ridiculously far away, they decided the time had come to
Take Back Easter and put it in its rightful place with all the other holidays
that provide relief from our day-to-day drudgery.
We did decide that the sticky sweets could stay, and egg-hunting definitely
had potential, especially if you make it interesting by taking it into
a cactus garden. Thus was born the Easter Egg Jello Shot Hunt.
Schedule:
4:30-5:00 pm = Egg hiding
5:00-7-ish pm = Egg finding and shooting
Put cool-sounding jello shot recipes in your RSVP comments, and we'll
put them in eggs.
At the hunt, please be extra-careful to not hurt the cacti. Some of them
are over a hundred years old. Plus, they bite back.
